Day 22

My two sweet boys! Cayden loves when his daddy lays in the floor with him. Sometimes the only way we can get him to sleep is to lay him on a pillow and we lay on each side of him and he rolls around and finally falls asleep. :)

Day 21

Cayden loves laying in the floor on pillows so we bought him his own little couch. It pulls out into a little bed for him to lay on too. He loves it! He also likes pushing it up against things and using it as a step stool haha.

Day 20

This was late Friday night when he decided he didn't want to go back to sleep. He was watching TV on the couch with his daddy. He still didn't feel really well so we didn't mind. :)

Day 19

Cayden decided he wanted to sit on his activity table instead of just playing on it. He's been trying to figure out how he can get up on it since we got it last weeked and he finally succeeded. He's looking at his daddy like ha look what I can do!

Day 18

Wednesday was Cayden's very first day at daycare! This is a picture of Cayden and Allen Wednesday evening. He was so pitiful, he got sick that afternoon and was running a fever and did not feel good at all! I took him to the doctor when we got home from daycare and she said he had a virus that would run its course in about 3 days. We're pretty sure it was hand, foot, and mouth. :(

Day 17

Cayden was being super fussy Tuesday afternoon and he was fighting taking a nap like crazy. So I laid him in the floor on his pillow and turned cartoons on. This is what I found, I think he passed out mid roll haha.

Day 16

So when my parents came they also took home a twin bed that was in this corner of Cayden's bedroom. This is going to serve as a before picture of his room. I'm planning on moving the rocking chair (thats still in our bedroom) and I bought a new shelving system that looks like cubby holes to put some of Cayden's things in. Hopefully I'll get it all fixed up this week, I definately should be able to get it done at the end of the week since Cayden is starting daycare on Wednesday. :(

Day 15

We finally got the shelf hung up above our bed yesterday. I think it turned out very well and we love the way it looks! It's also very romantic as well. ;)

Day 14

My parents came to visit this past weekend, they got here Friday night. This is a new toy they brought for Cayden. My grandparents actually got it for him but they just brought it to us. He loves to put things in it, in this picture I believe that is a rubber duck in there. It also flips over if you see the green part, so that he can build blocks on it.

Day 13

Allen and Cayden brought these home to me Friday night as a surprise! I was so happy, I had been cleaning all afternoon and it was nice to be thought of. :)

Day 12

My sweet boy showing off his pretty teeth! He has 8 but you can't see the ones on top. This was taken at like 11 at night and as you can see he was not ready to go to bed! He's been in bed at like 9 all week and then one night he decided he wanted to stay up and play. Hopefully he won't repeat that tonight!

Day 11

This is our parent handbook for Cayden's new daycare. He's suppose to start next Wednesday, we went today and Cayden got to play a little bit and he had lots of fun! I know I'm going to be the one thats going to take it hard because he will probably love it!

Day 10

I got a new phone!! Its the new Blackberry Bold and I love it already! I've been wanting to get it for a while now and we finally went and got it tonight after Allen got off work.

Day 9

Yum, Yum! Yes they were very good brownies. Me and Aaron got together Monday night to watch the first episode of the Bachelor Pad and we made brownies as well!

Day 8

I took this picture when me and Cayden went for a little walk while we were visiting Aaron, Janie, and their little girl Clara in Nashville. We stayed the night with them Saturday night and this was taken Sunday morning. I tried to get the butterfly with his wings open but he was moving too fast this was the best I could do.

Day 7

This is what was left of my cake I made on Thursday. It traveled all over west and middle tennessee because we took it with us traveling. It went to Dyersburg, McKenzie, Nashville, then back to Murfreesboro. It was delicious though!

Day 6

So, I haven't been able to post everyday because we were traveling most of the weekend and I kind of slacked off on the pictures so Day 6 and 7 aren't that great. This is a picture of Cayden's car seat. I decided to take a picture of it because that is where he spent most of his day on Friday. We traveled 3 hours to Dyersburg in west Tennessee then had to go another hour and 15 minutes to my parents house that evening. Cayden did great although he did start squirming a lot by the end of the night and was glad to be out of that seat.

Day 5

I got in the baking mood this afternoon! Now I am by no means a cake decorator and actually I have never even decorated a cake like this before. I think I did a pretty decent job considering it was my first time. Now I just can't wait to eat it! :)

Day 4

Today's picture is of Cayden sitting in one of the little rocking chairs outside of Cracker Barrel. We had to meet my parents this evening to switch cars since mine is messing up. We usually meet at the same Cracker Barrel that is pretty much halfway between our house and theirs. Hopefully my dad will be able to get my car fixed so that they can bring it back when they come not this weekend but the next. Other than us meeting up with them our day has been pretty uneventful. Maybe the rest of the week will be more exciting!

Day 3

We have a monkey!! He climbs on everything and thinks it is so funny. We put the laundry basket in front of the end table to keep him from getting around and under it. He however has more fun climbing on top of it. We're constantly getting him down because he likes to try and knock everything off the table. Oh the joy of parenting! :)

Day 2

Ok, so today wasn't the best day. I was going to take my camera with me when me and Cayden got out but I couldn't find it and I was in a hurry to leave. I had to take Cayden to the doctor today to make sure his ear infection was cleared up and it is thank goodness! The bad part of my day was that my car quit on me literally ten times today! :( We don't know what is wrong with it.

Anyways, this is a picture of Cayden with his rubber bath toy in his mouth, its a fish. haha He always walks around with either it or his rubber duck in his mouth. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day!

Day 1

This is a picture of my handsome son, he's 9 1/2 months old and his name is Cayden Avery. He's showing off his standing skills in this one, he just started walking last weekend. I tried to get a picture of him walking but it didn't work out very well maybe I'll be able to get one soon. I'm sure that you'll be seeing a lot of pictures of him during this challenge because he is my world! I'm going to try and mix it up some too but I thought it fitting for a picture of him to be my first one because he means everything to me and Allen.
